!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I’m really looking forward to next year. With the Williams suspension and gearbox and Mercedes engine, they could potentially be fighting in the midfield. Sorry, it’s one of the Autosport+ articles.

The only thing I don’t like about the Merc deal is it’ll probably spell the end of Rossi’s brief F1 career. Merc will inevitably push to get a development driver in a Manor car and the second seat will probably come highly coveted by any young driver wanting a future chance at Merc.

Rossi has backing. Pascal Wehrlein is probably getting a seat, but the second being up for grabs doesn’t mean it’s the end of his F1 career. I’d be surprised if they end up with two rookies. Next year is going to be very important for them, and having a quality driver at Monaco 2014 is the reason they’re still on the grid. They can’t have a pay driver and a rookie. They need to score points next year.

Who does Rossi bring with him? And he’s arguably still a rookie.

I think everybody is still holding their breath with regard to Red Bull. That’s potentially four very good drivers that will suddenly be available.

I’m not actually sure. I do know he paid for his Manor drive, but I’m not sure how much or where it came from.

Anymore any young driver who “gets a chance” with a low-level team had to have had some sort of backing. He seems to be a competent driver and hasn’t been around long enough to earn a Maldonado reputation. Apparently his backer will be a bit more prominent in Austin so we’ll see.
